We get 30 or more spams on the blogs every night (ringtones, viagra, etc) so Todd built a filter to White List friends that have already posted to the blogs. Anyone else is blacklisted and will need a manual approval to unblock the comment. This might delay your comments if you have a dial up connection or change IP number frequently (the white list is controlled by IP numbers).
I try to check and unblock comments as often as I can. We did think long and hard about adding this filter but eventually the number of spams we had to manually delete per day made us add this filter. I hope you will understand and still keep on posting!
