PermaLink We would like to thank all of you that attended our first Teke Christmas party 12/11/2006 09:54 AM
in Florida and made it such a nice event. Welcome back next year!

The KaraKum Special Glögg and the Saffronpancake from Gotland were the favourites among the Christmas goodies.
Orion did a great job showing off his type and excellents gaits, he did behave like the perfect gentleman.

Pekhimli happily took on a new Teke fan and made gave her the best and smoothest ride ever.

Fleur the Hanoverian took on a rider to but managed to bump her off, my conlusion, after a few vodka spiced glöggs, chose the Teke for a safe ride!

We had the opportunity to show the Tekes to a European Grand Prix show jumper new to the breed. It is always interesting to see the first timers reactions to the Tekes. The overall impression was cool, peoplefriendly and beautiful. But of course the key question for a jumper is can they jump?
We took out the three girls, Rosanna, Merdjen and Pekhimli for a little free jumping session among the mingling glögg drinking Teke fans.
They all did very well, the ranking for jumping ability from the show jumper was 1. Pekhimli 2 Merdjen and 3 Rosanna. Pekhimli and Merdjen picked out as promising jumping prospect.

Here are some pics of them jumping, but first....

The GIRLS look great but I have to vote for PEggy Sue. THank you guys the party was loads of fun. The Tekes were very hospitable and tolerated us X-mas celebrators with patience. Hey I think they enjoyed all the attention.
